Kick ass game. Really. Huge duel on John's Pass between Crip and Snoop, where they used all their skills to win, and you can definately feel their motivation to destroy the ennemy. Bold moves, surprises, secret weapons, it has it all. And no tahook. Yay :)

Game Summary

Snoop starts top, with the classic Veh first strat, while Crip is bottom and tries to go sea first, as he sees Snoop is not sucking trees. Good idea, because he is able to expand very fast, and even secures top right before Snoop is able to build enough sea to block him. So after 10 mins, Crip is producing twice snoop's metal income, and has 3/4 of the map. The game is very big, so u guess it wont end so fast. Indeed, Snoop went fast pels on his starting side, and with the help of really good UC and a cruiser or 2, succeeds at retaking top right, as Crip had no defenses against pels at that time. Uh oh... only sea = not easy to scout. So Crip has the economy, and Snoop has the metal from the top right battle. Even again. Crip is now pissed (i guess), so he decides to be more cautious and starts to creep on the ground quite effectively. He also goes pels, and has soon taken advantage of his superior economy to push snoop back to 1/4th of the map again, tho snoops has all the top metal. Now both have the 2 main weapons of the map : pels and cruisers, and its time to bring forth what they have prepared to kill the other one. Crip chose the classic secret weapon : hawks, and Snoop, as he is lagging, picked something quite unusual : a nuke ! Both arent defended at all against those 2 kinds of weapon, and the game is not close to end. With major damage done to each other, they both use their advantages very well, often to the point to let the other make a breakthrough to bring destruction in the ennemy base. The game lasts a bit longer than it should, so maybe at 80 % of the game you might want to increase the speed a bit, but otherwise its entertaining all the time even if its really big (more than 1 hour). The only missing things i could see was the lack of scouting from both sides, and a lot of idle stuff (tho there was a lot going on and without tahook its quite understandable)

Final Words

So thats a battle that easily wins the "epic" attribute, and i suggest you stop reading this boring text and go download the stuff :)
