JP 1v1 between 2 experts=big game, good mix of units, and aggressive expansion. This one isn't exactly a nailbiter, it's not real hard to tell who is going to win from early on. If you're looking for upsets or shockers this isn't for you. If you're looking for good ideas and build orders for 1v1 JP you'll find some here for sure. -Both players have pretty much the same start, going vehicle first. One opts for 2 cons/jeffy, the other for 3 cons/jeffy. -Both cross the pass with their coms and establish themselves. -daWicked is aggressive early with ships forcing R4ctice to porc a bit but ends up leaving him a bunch of metal as he is outgunned and has to retreat.
This was a long game so I'll just give you the highlights rather than play by play. -daWicked makes a nuke silo early. To his dismay it is not well hidden and is quickly spotted, then removed forcibly via level 1 and 2 bombers. -Both resource up big time, R4ctice gets an edge with multiple mmm's. -daWicked makes a nice run to R4ctice's start pos. with pels and clears some tidals, mts and a shipyard. -R4ctice wisely builds labs down the narrow path towards daWicked's start point. -daWicked gets off a couple nuke shots clearing a large part of each of his opponents isles. -Both mass hawks but R4ctice MASSES hawks :P -Ever the sly one daWicked smartly makes a shipyard in the center of the pass and slides subs in R4ctices back door, getting many kills but frustratingly missing key targets. -daWicked can't keep up with R4ctice's hawk production so he makes archers (adv. aa ships). I was astounded at how well they performed. 2 of them had almost 120 kills combined!
One must wonder what woulda happened if not for that peeper that spied the nuke.
Blood pumping adrenaline rush? Nah. Expert game of JP? Indeed. Value to JP rookies? Priceless.
