Review

Very classic game, a 2v2 on gpp. And a short one too, just above the 20 mins mark. We will see how small maps increase the effects of errors, and the need for fast reactions when you make them. This is not gow where you have a lot of options open when you strat fails. Also, as the game was quite laggy and because im lazy, i wont give player scores this time.

Game Summary

Team A starts on the left, with AP top and Edge bottom. Oreo is top right, while jbriggs is bot right. Standard building queue, all go for the flashes while building minimal anti jeffies defenses. Raids follow, nothing spectacular as only AP is able to do some real damage to the ennemy. Well, since both teams are neutralized, all those mad scientists bring forth the next step of their respective plans to rule the world... err map. You can add a nasty grin here and there. Ok, so AP decides to expand fast with defenders, Edge skips the 2nd plant and goes for fast guardian, Oreo starts porcing and jbriggs builds a 2nd plant then goes for guardian as well. Since he capped his mexxes faster, jbriggs (bot right, remember) is able to finish his g at the same time as Edge (bot left, still with me ?). This should obviously lead to an intense guardian duel. Well youre wrong. Edge, for no particular reason, goes back with his comm and starts building winds instead of guarding the guardian (um...). This, added to jbriggs attack to use his own g, means of course the duel doesnt happen at all and Edge is forced to retreat. Meanwhile, AP is doing a good job against Oreo (who is now adding DTs to his defense, surrendering more and more ground), so it looks like its going to be one of those "kill the weak ally first" race ending. Download to find out :).

Final Words

Overall, you see an average game that all of us must have played several times on Zone. Average yes, but youre always happy to be on the winning side of those games, thats why it was sent here i guess. One more to add to the statistics, and i suggest watching it at 200% speed, with the lag you wont miss any UC tricks anyway.
