Overview

Alright, all reviewers must eventually review a GOW game. So here it goes.
Starts off with 3 ARM and 1 CORE, ARMs all go vehicle and you can guess what the CORE does.
Our hero CORE bomber today is Nanolaizer and he manages to pull out his first bomber
at 1:45, not bad for the calm weather he and his partner are experiencing on their islands today.
Unfortunately, he does not manage to take out a single mex on either of his opponents island with
the first or second bomber. :( rE_Art1 reclaims his vehicle and is the air support for
his team. Sadly, his first bomber takes out a single wind before it parishes. Then they begin to
stack up on the ground. Meanwhile, Verdict is taking a bath and building some resources while
Ak_Bacchus is filling his island with resources and gets himself a swoopy advanced lab.
Ten minutes pass and we've had four bombing runs. Wonder what will happen? Time passes. I am stopping
the review comments at 82% into the game, there is a huge build up with both teams. Got lots of pels,
crussies, and even rapiers. Going to be a bloodbath.

Pros

  • Good job repairing crussies by both bottom players.
  • I always like to see each team take an island up top and not give up hope
  • The single island mex was actually capped, amazing. Cant' believe how many people never use it.
  • No fast, lone BB player who dies after three shots are fired because he can't spell DEFENSE.

    Cons

  • Bombing was poor and no pressure by air, whatsoever.
  • Pels groupings remained idle in cluster, could have easily been roached.
  • Heavy build up of units, no real challenge moves to turn the game one direction or the other.
  • Slow moving, little action to keep the viewer interested, but it is a nice watch at the end.

    Parting Thoughts/Shots

    It's easy to sit and watch a game and say, "You should've done this or done that." But, when it
    comes down to it, you know when you are playing the game, it's just not the same. Nuff said there.
    One little thing that really bothered me is, the build up of bombers that were never used.
    And please don't keep walking your comm around in the water when their is known crussies hanging out
    and you have not defense. :( I didn't not rate the players, since they had all game to sit and build for
    Control Z unit attacks at the end.
