Why if it isnīt Greatly Overplayed Waterhole aka GoW!

BTU vs Calgar and Bucco, from now on refered to as the french team since well, they speak french in allied chat. (perhaps they are canadian, what do I know).

Game kicks off with a nice air battle between Calgar and Natas. Even Bucco plays a part in that, with an FF he got from his ally. When both sides have managed to get some MTs up, the air war calms down and itīs safe to say that BTUs were less hurt then the french team. However, the game is far from predictable.

Enter midgame and unlike 99% of the GoW games that are played these days, it doesnīt include four players that farm tidals and hide in their corners. Instead we get to see a fast and aggressive strategy from both teams. The top islands are first taken by the BTUs, but very soon the french team takes it back, only to lose it again before winning it a second time - nice battle up there.

The main fight is around the wreckage in the center of the map. Skeets and crusaders fight for territory while con units try to reach the precious metal. And during all this, bombers fly all over the map hunting mexes on all islands.

This is a GoW game that in the large picture looks quite ordinary, but the details are way better then in your usual Zone game. Lots of smart unit control, nice bombing runs and well timed attacks. You can learn many tricks on this map from watching this demo, so take my advice young padwan, and download.
