I like happy endings in TA demos. Nothing more annoying then watching a whole game thinking: "He´s gonna make it, he will make a great comeback" ... only to see the last line of defense getting beat and a polite "gg" from the guy who struggled for so long.
Those games are such let downs. If you´r gonna waste 30 minutes of my time, make sure the ending is worth waiting for!
This game is played on the silly, underrated and kinda retarded map Lava Run, by the well known ACE boys. None of them seem to be used to the map, there´s a lot of confusuion, bad moves, desperate manouvers and friendly fire (including D-guns into labs).
None of that smooth, top notch gameplay but creative strategies and quite fun to watch. But what really made this demo enjoyable was, you guessed it, the happy ending! The units involved, the player who did it, the unpredictable outcome. Sweet. |
