Well, one of the most anticipated matchups for the first round was well rather disappointing, as i thought this was gonna be one of the big matches of the first round. Both players 2 of the best in the game, and have been for years....
We got Natas on bottom and raster up top... looks like raster is gonna play it pretty safe, capping mexes then going sam then power building 3 mt's...
doesnt really do much cause natas does a good job of keeping his 4-6 flashes on the otuer mexes and not rushing in. Good uc by waiting till raster brings his com to the outer mexes to cap then he rushes 2 flashes up the left side and his the 2 mexes...
Raster counter attacks lower left and north of natas base... but gets shut down pretty quick cuase natas has plenty of mt's to the left of his base to handle a 3-4 flash rush and tries to tdgun the flashes coming from the north, gets them but dguns a con unit in the midst :(
Raster figures out what natas is doing massing up mt's on the left side and creeping them while expanding north for mexes. Raster walks com south and bassically gets a little deep in the mt field and natas quickly responds by sending the flashes in the for the kill..... booom game over 11min in and its over raster just got caught out to far and didnt have the defense to keep his com alive ...
ah well, a lot of ppl thought raster was gonna go all the way, but natas proved that hes still got it to play well and possibly take the money home himself, so interesting outcomes here in the first round, might be some of the same next round, as some of the best players to start the tourney are out first round.
