Sometimes you get bored of games with intricate bombing runs, carefully timed tech ups and methodically stockpiled hawks. Why can't they just kill each other the old fasioned way?
Red Planet is my favourite TA map for some reason. It's small enough that Guardians can still matter but aren't the absolute decider. You've got a certain amount of stuff to reclaim and the differing style (if questionable balance) of the start positions mean you don't always get the players both doing the exact same thing.
Both players here get off to an average start. Both end up losing their original starting bases and do a good job of expanding (to the extent that you can on this map) in an unpredictable manner. Both players could have maybe done with a DT'd HLT in their bases here to anchor them but maybe they were spending too heavily on flashes to afford it.
So in summary we have us here a nice closely fought demo, plenty of action and doesn't outstay its welcome. 8/10.
