I'm pretty sure I've played PyroAnonymous a few days ago on Phoenix Worx. Nice guy, and receptive to feedback.
These are two new players but they're doing plenty of things right. Both expand reasonably quickly, and they both recognise when it's time to tech up.
My main recommendation to Pyro would be to give up on "no flash" rules on your games. If you don't learn how to flash rush, and critically, how to defend against flash rushes you'll never understand what this game is all about; aggression.
Both players are thinking about the map as "my half" and "your half". Nobody tried to challenge the others front line. Just look at the Show Down demo I've also reviewed today. Through a combination of Guardian creep and attack units you can end the game a hell of alot earlier.
Plus, if you attack your opponent you know more about what he's doing. If Pyro had known viper was stockpiling hawks he could have responded by building much more AA and cloaking his commander. You watch the good players and they know what their opponent is doing all the time. You have to think ahead and see how best to counter the other guy.
Best of luck to you both. Keep watching demos and concentrate on expanding & rushing and you'll be solid players in no time.
