Review |
You'd think that any map played by experts would be great entertainment.
It's not.
GD 2 is a weird ass map. Good but not great players can have fun games on it. They build BBs, nukes, fusions, bombers, ground units, sneaky guardians with jammers an the whole dog and pony show of variety.
Experts build some DT, try a BB, give up cause it just gets bombed, and go crazy with the air labs.
GD 2 is for the Phoenix bomber what JP is for the Hawk. The only unit that really works.
This 2 hour monster of a game could have been awsome. Unfortunately, only the first and last 20 minutes are interesting. Everything in between is a loop of RVD bombing Aprox, then Aprox bombing RVD. Over and over and over.
I think the term "outmotivated" was used in the end. I can see why.
Still tho, beginning and ending is quite cool. |
