Ok i had some problems downloading - finally got it to work, and this was the first game i clicked on. :D
And im glad i did!
This battle was relatively short, but quite interesting. Both players play fast and direct, with little time building up.
Rock goes air first, and i was suprised to see his ff survive against 3 MT. Upon seeing Natas's strat Rock, very very quickly, gets a con air out, using his ff's to defend it well. Some nice u.c and quick reactions there. Also watch how Rock goes sea, using it to back up his ff's and slow down Nata's expansion. Quick skeets isn't often seen these days on GoW, but Rock shows how effective they can be. Rocks building was rated highly, since, like every great player, he builds only what he needs.
Natas, played well, but was let down in a few sloppy cases of u.c. He lost a veh con early, after he had only made 2. He bombed well throughout the game, but really doesnt make a dent in Rocks economy. OFten later on, its best to build 2 bombers, and use one to clear any winds, followed swiftly by another. Again the big man from gibralter shows how its done.
There was a big stand off mid way through the game, with large numbers of pels, spread out across the sea. I assume Natas saw Rock making invaders, and spread hispels out to prevent them being lost.
If so, this was excellent foresight by Nata's. To many players group their pels together, and i have seen so many times when one Roach wins a game. Because the pels were spread out, Rock has ahard time roaching them effectively, whilst Natas, somehow manages to fly a loaded atlas over 10+ pels and still survive for another try. O_o
Also Natas could built a wind toguard his adv kbot lab frombombers more effectively. But i dont think itmattered, watch how Rocks early skeeters seem so effective. Good game guys, well played.
This is the perfect game for a spare 10-15 mins, when you want to see excellent building and tactics! :P |
