Just got the TA demo recorder working on my new computer. So now I can return to playing really old games on realy new computers. Thats really what TA is about. Since age usually means wisdom, TA is all about the appearance of wisdom. Some kid comes up and sees your game and asks "Whats that youre playing?" and you respond, "You wouldnt understand youngster, its before your time." Well maybe youll respond like that, if youre a total douche.
Anyway I bring your attention back to the old School tournament, which has yet to reach its exciting conclusion. While many are doubting if it will ever end, I think Med and RVD will find the time to play each other. So here we have two players who are already eliminated. The question is, who eliminated who? Now you could go and visit the forums and dig up the thread to have a look at the brackets, or you could just poke your head through TADRS and see whats hot.
Whats not hot is this game. Chopper managed to win on his pick, but when it came to Jonos pick it was a different story. Ive been told that PD is TA, and that if you cant play PD then you cant play TA. While I disagree, with that statement it holds a certain amount of truth. No land map is more difficult when it comes to territory control and using units and resources wisely. The game starts out pretty even, but youll see it is the movement and timing decisions that ultimately lead to Jonos 120 flash ctrl+z finish against Chopper in this one. The entire map is occupied at around 11 minutes, but not the entire map is built on. Mainly because of the proliferation of those pesky flashkers. Anyway this might be an interesting watch for you tournament enthusiasts, but Id pick something different to download. |
