We have Venom up against reaver in this battle on PD. It was a gw on GBL, and Venom is the core commander. The game starts off with some flash and instigator raiding by both players. Venom does a much better job of cutting off reaver's expansion, and as a result takes quite a bit more land. Both players realize that the fusion and mmm combo are a must for PD, and tech up at around the same time. With the mass resources, both players make many kbot labs and start to mass produce rockos/storms. Reaver gets a larger army quicker, by not really attacking and saving up his units. Venom plays an excellent game as core in this one, successfully reducing reaver's mass rocko/flash army to nothing and then hitting him back, ending the game for reaver. Reaver's poor UC in this game is IMO what lost him the game. I don't know what he was thinking using ctrl z so much, but I've definately seen him play better. Was there a rematch?
