A good game between two skilled players.
Mastah starts NW, Rugga starts SE.
Mastah's beginning strategy consists of a long queue of cons sucking rocks and capping mexes. By the 5th minute he has two plants producing cons but there are no sams, flashes or mt defense in sight. Rugga has the fairly easy task of picking off those cons with the several flashes he produces. Although Mastah loses a lot of cons, he bounces back quickly and mounts a samson campaign. Rugga, having conducted a devastating rush fails to build enough cons to capitalize on his gains and despite controling most of the map, is outproduced by Mastah. Mastah on the other hand, has enough resources to produce a huge samson army and tear through Rugga's poorly defended SW corner.
Rugga does, however, go adv first and gets a very large Fusion/MMM economy going, prevailing over Mastah's sams with mass rockos. By the time Mastah manages to build his first fusion, Rugga has four. Mastah starts construction on a nuke facility early on. Will it be enough to make a difference vs. Rugga's bulging economy and mass rockos?
There are a lot of important lessons to be learned. First of all, you can never have too many cons on a map the size of pd. Second, anti-nukes are fairly inexpensive...build them. Finally, bbs are extremely effective on pd, so build those too. :-p |
