Gods of War 1v1 is all about maths isnīt it? Take your islands, multiply by the number of mexxes and you have the metal income to fuel your Pelican production.
Death has a very good vehicle to air start in this game, way better then Venomīs reversed Air to vehicle strategy. The result is what any experienced player would expect - a 3 to 2 island situation in Deathīs favour. Death has the metal advantage, the initiative and the faster Pelicans.
Thatīs when VeNoM does the only thing that can save his day - a good 'ol Commanderwalk. A few D-guns later, tables have turned. Now you have Venom with 3 islands and Death is down to 2. At the same time, Venom went sea before Pelicans which might help him get a higher resource production due to Cons in the water.
But Death still has the advantage of early Pels. If he can stop the cons building water resources, and control the wreckage in the water - heīll keep stay ahead regardless of islands. Also, he could do a Commanderwalk of his own and once again have an island advantage.
Download to see how Venom and Death take actions to achieve their goals. Lots to learn, maybe not quite as much entertainment, but a good lesson for anyone who wants to improve their GoW skills and learn a thing or two about the maths of TA. |
