game length 23 mins:- Bling gets top , skylo bottom .
I watched this game 3 times ,,once with .lockon with bling , the same for skylo and then with overall view ..
And it suddenly came to me what unit control really means . When u watch either of these two players or 80% of players with the .lockon function u realize that most players do things because it is the way it is done , the way its been seen before , the norm if u like ,
So its "OK , get a couple of conns , build a few flash , grab some metal , attack a little ,, ops i see dots , PULL BACK , PULL BACK !!! , right then thats that taken care of , now where was i ,,,ahhhh yes , i was killing them flash for 20 seconds while my other flash wre sitting on there own on the outside .." etc etc etc ..
Now if u go and watch a game with say , PIC for instance and do .lockon , u see that he is constantly sending things to places for a reason ,, he is orchestrating flash battles using the mini map because he has set up sufficent radar coverage to do so, he is controlling 5-6 flash packs at once ,, and this my friends is what , in my book ,, UNIT CONTROL is all about .
The unit control here was good but not great and in the end one player just gets over run with flash . So i strongly recommend in future that u try out the +los , +view (1,2,3,4,5, etc etc ) and .lockon players name, functions that the IKEA loving demo recorder builders have so lovingly and painstakingly done for u |
