Well i usually get a shower then some toast when i wake up, but for Crip its TA! Such dedication! :)
Unfrotunatly Crip seemed to be suffering from a hangover or something since he didnt play as good as i know he can.
Still Crip did play well, and it is credit to his opponent, RuGGA who himself had to play very well to beat Crip.
Both players starts were nearly identical, except that RuGGA made one more con. This did seem to have an effect since Crip only had 1 con unit on his base island all game. Sometimes when you are getting bombed one con doesn't seem to go very far. :/
Anyway both the guys go air after veh and begin ff production. RuGGA wins the ff battle and then proceeds to grab 3 islands. Crip gets top and holds it well.
The comms take to the water next and each player dguns an island apart. At this point both players have pels. There were some good pel battles, and some decent roaching, mostly by crip. Crip's sea economy keeps him on level pegging with RuGGA for a while, but is destroyed and pushes Crip back. The battle rages on with crussies next before a final desperate move by Crip, with a bb. Is it enough? Should you play TA before breakfast?
Give me the answers later. ;)
Anyway, seriously now, a good game, exciting to watch and a pleasure to review. Well played both of you. :)
