And the second annual Goose Egg Award goes to...*drum roll*...Adv_Air!!(in game says he is protos whoever that is). After playing like that shows courage to say who you are I guess.
I was sick of GoW and wanted to review a demo of a different map and scott and toxic I know are good so why not sail away. Boy what a dissapointment.
Toxic usually plays core very well he goes sea first. I think veh sea woulda gotten him more m to start with and some aa but since Air is bombing him, and me thinks he is legally blind, all is well.
Scott does the traditional veh first and gets hassled by snuka's mass skeets. Snuka too goes sea first and does so well.
Then we come to Adv_Air Hrmm where to begin. I guess firstly he stalls first gaurding cons out and then trying to get his air up. Next he loses a sy and tries going adv kbot which he stalls again and gets up while his sy wreck just sits there. He takes so damn long reclaiming it, Toxic ends up sending a con ship over with some skeets to get it. It is bad enough when that happens on GoW, which is still pretty sad, but on sa, jeeez. ALRIGHTY, next his bombing is piss poor and he marked nothing. Thirdly, watch numerous cons, air and kbot sit idle. My favorite is where he built his adv kbot. It actually gets killed with mass skeets. Last but not least, something to remember for all you Goose Egg hopefulls, nothing spells n00b more than going gaurd on sail away as early as he did (I could understand if you are totally f*cked and it is just something to build but this is not the case here). The gaurd actually shoots his own sy's when aiming at skeets.
Poor Snuka gets ass mangled in the meantime. He and scott woulda had a nice battle if Air wasn't a vegitable.
Toxic I thought would do better, veh first woulda served him well but he obviously wanted mass searchers and with core's being so cheap he does fine and shows he knows what he is doing atleast.
This is the last bad game I am gonna review I think. Every game seems to be like this though. Only reason more games do not get reviewed is cause you have to watch 5 crap ones to get to 1 good one.
If you have a demo that resembles this one keep it. Or if you are going to compete for the next Goose Egg award send it in I guess.
