Three words in a row starting with the same letter is called alitteration. Useful information huh?
3v3 on Coast to Coast is pretty far from the default game on Zone, so this demo gets a bonus because of that. Itīs nice to see players who tries something different, something they canīt apply standard tactics on.
Zen, Quasor and Rules find eachother on the left side, ally up and runs into communication problems right away. Both Zen and Quasor goes air, while Rules tries Kbot. Needless to say, everyone stalls on energy and the resource situation is pretty bad. Why double air? No idea. Possibly because Zen is korean and speaks worse english then me, and maybe because no one on the left side seems to be very interested in what the others are doing. But thanks to patience, understanding and tolerance they manage to work out some kind of strategy in the end. And when communication fails, at least they know their TA.
On the right side, the role call is more what youīd expect. Bean is the man in the air, Chesire goes veh to secure the land, and Miko act as backup. Miko hardly builds anything at all in the game except for resources, but he knows how to support his team. Right side undoubtly has better communication and they make the best of every player, regardless of "skill".
So there you have it, right side teamworking and focusing on one thing at a time while left coast rely on individual performance. Something like that.
Different, entertaining and unpredictable (that was not an alitteration, just catchy). Nice demo. |
