Apparently Pacer has been viewing some rather steamy Porn recently, as hinted by the pre-game text.
Cube selects Arm*, Wheras Hyde picks Core.
The map is Gasplant Plain, and on most days when this map is played, people build vehicle first. Not Mister Hyde, who opts for a Shadow off of his freshly built aircraft plant. And not Cube, who uses those adorable little peewees out of his K bot lab.
Unfortunatly for Cube, Hyde knows the Cure for the common peewee; the Light Laser Tower. And unfortunatly for Mister Hyde, cube knows the cure for the common bomber; things that shoot missiles. It takes a while for Cube to shoot down Hyde's bomber, but while hyde is busy bombing, he's not building. And the peewees are limiting his expansion to areas around his LLT. So they both reclaim to vehicle, and they're both at square one.
Enter the Slasher, a long range missile unit, as well as its vile Arm* equivalent the Samson. Cube tries to contain Hyde's expansion with his Flashker-free offense, and does a good job of it. But when an even number of Slashers and Samsons get into a fight they ignite gasbags. Therefore, whoever has more Slashers or Samsons next to Gasbags will find themselves sans Slashers/Samsons faster than thier opponet.
Things even up with Cube controlling the territory, but after a serious Punisher creep by Hyde, Cube is beaten back into his corner, and like all other Arm* Commanders, resorts to Flashkers.
Very interesting to watch and back and forth action with no clear winner until the end.
*Arm is defined as 1.) n. An appendage or limb usually extending from the upper torso. 2.) n. Vermin, or Parasite (see also: Flea, Tick.) |
