Good game on rhl with expanding with ur com v gaurding out cons and flashes. Erindel gets the luxury of being right and gets 3 close patches, whereas Zen has to settle with 2 or do some walking to get the 3rd and start ur veh plant quite late.
Zen has the right idea to do 2 then a lab but he makes a few bad choices imo. The thing about great players is they make your mistakes very apparent.
Erindel I would assume ahs had more experience on this map than Zen, that combined with being right and having a set plan shows through.
A few things i would have done differently if I was Zen:
1) Gaurd out that first con so that it can get south and get a radar up before it gets killed by a flash. Alot of this is luck and you did good not building on the close patches but if u gaurded it out would been able to get south sooner and a radar so that if u see any dots u can pull back.
2) I would not have switched to sams thus I would not have bound that con to your first lab. You know south is basically Erindels so ur gonna need something to kill cons down there and flashes do the job much better.
3) Ur second lab I would have not built flashes first but 2 cons. One to cover ur solars and mex's between ur 2 bases and the other have come help gaurd out mt's to cover middle and give cover to ur flashes.
But it is not your lack of playing well that does you in it is a bit of luck and erindel's fine playing. He sees ur com and knows the middle will be open as does he know that ur base is com-free.
I enjoyed watching this game and I have been in Zen's shoes many a time. You feel so behind and that second lab u want units so bad to pressure but sometimes you have to get those cons to secure and to get going.
