Expecting another slow expansion/mass flash type of game, I wasn't too excited.
But damn.
How I love to see when someone tries a different strategy. Not just to be creative or prevent boredom, but as a smarter way to play the map. Unbelivable that you can still see that in TA 2008. Improvements, pushing TA forward another step. Well, at least on this map.
In this game Gaia has a plan, a bold plan that can end in a quick loss if he makes a mistake. A strat that will only work if Crater isn't prepared for it. And that's just so cool to see.
The game isn't one sided, and the creative strat of Gaia has flaws. But that's what makes is such a great demo.
I guess this deserves the old and, now days rarely used, 'learning value'.
