Well i guess these games have been reviewed 2 or 3 times already, but they are in the queue, so...
A great game. TAG vs ORCA (SY) on Beta Tropics for the CBL tournament in 2001. I know a lot of you have this game, but if you dont, this is a must dowload.
Beta Tropics (c2c 2) is a slow map... you start with +5 or +6 metal max, so dont expect furious battles after 10 mins. Both teams start with early air, Dune goes early FF and Berikaren, as Core, goes early bomber. Dune spots him and kills the bomber, so now ORCAs are in a bad position. But dont forget he is Core, so he soons gets another Shadow out, and does major damage in the TAG base. He will do so during almost all the game. Even worse for the TAGs, ORCAs are first to go in the sea. The fight begins, Rock goes in sea too and Dune bombs like Berikaren. It is great to see how both teams react to their opponents moves, how they try to predict or improvise strats, block or surprise the ennemy. Really, this game has everything. A few mistakes are made, and the gameplay is slightly different than these days, but it definately is a game to put in the archives.
