Here is a really fun game between two decent players X_Venish and Steel_Head2. Both players go winds to 1 mex then throw up a vel plant. Venish, who starts right, goes for more of a defensive strat pumping the Samson, then a few cons constructing mts. Both players stall metal going for their fast AA. Once a few cons have been pumped and all resources have been covered, the vel plants are sucked and 2 air plants go up. Steel assumes that he made fast enough air that he can pump a con air and start eating rocks at the other islands. Venish who started right, first pumps an atlas then flies his Samson to the top left island trying to get an upper hand in this battle. Air is then followed by some fun FF battling, which in the long run gives Venish the upper hand. Both players make quite a few mistakes with idle cons, and BO’s, though some units got way further then they were suppose to get. Around the 10-minute mark bombers start to go back and forth hitting E and mex’s. Steel who manages a sea plat too, makes some skeets and cons to build mt’s and production. At 12:40 into game look at Steel’s starting location, its pretty funny. Venish then follows with slow bot lab, and even slower adv. By this time it looks that Steel has the dominant advantage this game with crusaders, sea control and a good production rate. Venish holds 2 islands with 2 mts each keeping Steel away, while no one even bothers to look or go for the bottom island each probably assuming that the other has it. At 17 mins into the game things are looking VERY grim for Venish who is only pumping metal to what he has in his starting location, though at this time has an adv lab and is pumping pels. Steel’s sea army then continues to be dguned as Venish pulls himself out of a bad position. At 20 mins Steel still has more then twice the units as Venish!
