So you think Ak is outa date, you think hes been outa the game to long to put up a good fight against any good player, you think hes rusty and needs to quit while hes ahead? Well this game could possibly change your mind when he goes up against arguably the best TA player at this time and shows him he still has it in him to put up a fight.
On the right we have Ak going air first, while crip on the left goes veh to quick air second. when this happened i thought for sure that Ak was in for it, he would lose island control he would get his start island bombed to oblivion, and then the game would go on for a bit but crip would simply out produce and out control ak in the water and Air. Well a slightly toned down version of that happened. Ak felt a little preasure in the air but nothing he couldnt handle. He did lose island 2-3 in crip's favor. So here we are.
Mid-game is rolling around and crip has bottom, peanut, and top islands, he has quite a few bombers, adv kbot, more metal and more energy, hes producing pels quite a bit before ak and out producing them. He surrounds the bottom right island of AK and hits him all around while using air cons to suck up his losses, very smart move there. Hes using nice UC in order not to control w or z. Well played here.
Ill be honest here i dont know what happened, but AK goes in to second gear throws it into Defensive mode and holds crip off like a pro using some wrecks to get moving again, soon throws up another adv and slowly starts matching production of crip. From here crips making some good moves with crussies while AK his hitting peanut hard with all hes got.
This is one of the few games that i slowed down from .250 speed. I rarely do that in any game espcially a 1v1 but to keep u with the air battle at the start i had to and ended up keeping it there becuase they kept me interested and i think they will you as well. Take a look at this one. |
