Whatever hapend to git? 15 minutes of fame and then he was gone. Oh well, he made a few good demos before leaving the building. (perhaps he just changed name, I never managed to follow the name changes in this community)
This game brings us back to 2001, a time when git was one of the best players around. On the other side we see Pic who is, was... well itīs Pic and you should know who that is.
Red Hot Lava is the map and Iīve always wanted to see how two top notch players would play it. To my great dissapointment, this game is quite boring. Pic on the left and git on the right play very similar games - Samsons all the way. Git has better timing and a few well placed cons, enough to give him a slight advantage.
Pretty soon Pic realise that he is outroduced and outgunned, and quits. I hate jumping to conclusions, but this game looks like a brag game. Beating Pic is an achievement, but not enough to make it to the front page.
Expert level TA of the year 2001. But without the old school learning or entertainment value that some of these oldies have. |
