TA players panic, donīt deny it, Iīm sure you do as well.
I do it every time I play iWIN. Other do it when they see more then three units of a kind "Heīs going MASS *units* !!!". Some people panic when certain units are spotted such as BBs, subs, pels or Mavericks. Panic is normal, but it hurts gameplay. You lose focus and screw up, bang your head into the keyboard and ask yourself why on earth you play this game. But perhaps that last bit only applies to me. Anyway...
This GoW game features two great players. The legendary on-everyones-top-10-list ROCK and the very underrated not-on-anyones-top-10-list Venom. A good matchup with very high skill involved on both sides.
ROCK goes air, Venom vehicle. Expansion as youīd expect with some nice bombing, FFs and all the usual stuff. But thereīs no opportunity for a fast victory, and soon the map is divided in two equally strong sides. Plenty of battles with devestating roaches and snneaky attacks. And of course, things that would make most people panic. Such as missing an offscreen and waste 20 bombers or suddenly get hit by a BB without having anything at all to counter with.
Good example of good and bad ways to react when your gameplan goes out the window thanks to a suprising attack. |
