Whats with this no emg stuff that still goes on today? Learn to play with them!Anyways, we got sorta a quick game here on Lava Highground between two new players. Not really very entertaining too watch and no learning value.
One guy goes quick storms and doesn't gaurd his Kbot lab, while the other guy takes his comm to middle with sams as defense and builds mexs and solars, while keeping his first con in his base making mass MT's.
The guy who had his comm in the middle payed the price as he got comm rushed and both comms blew. The game continued though as it was on dead comm continues.
The game proceeds with little action as one player slowly kills the other.
I'll give a few tips to both players, as that could have been the reason the game was sent in.
Memz: Expansion with a lone comm to middle is kinda dumb on this map. Any decent player will kick you out of middle in no time. You had nice expansion to the corners, but you should have definately taken your first con to middle and power built defenders. Instead of making defenders in your start position, if you are gonna keep a con there make some resources. Especially since you saw that he was kbot, but continued to waste your defenders.
AARRGG_: Hmm, you did quite a few more things wrong than Memz. First of all you built your lab too early for not rushing. If you aren't planning on rushing, build a few more mexs and winds before starting lab. I would also suggest never to start kbots first on small ground maps, espacially since you were core. The only good
thing about kbots first would be peewees. On lava highground its pretty crucial to get middle. That means getting your commander into the thick of things down there. You also wasted a pile of storms attacking his base when you knew he had mass defenders.
Well thats about all I can think of. Hope to see another demo with one of you guys on this map in which you play a lot better.
