Here we have a 2v2 on Gasplant Plain. Wow, isnīt that original? I bet youīve seen hundreds of games like this. Itīs always the same, flashrush, guardian, build up and go BB. Thatīs how this map is played, right? Every time, right?

Well, maybe not.

This game was obviously a random pickup on Zone. The teams are made from how they start, with Death and Kronos to the right, and Aqua/Silva to the left. Everyone but Kronos seem to know eachother so when Death finds out his ally is making solars (yeah, solars! On GPP!), he lets his enemies know about it. They share his pain. Solars. Omg, who let this guy in?

The game kicks off with an intense flash battle between Silva and Death. Itīs sweet EMG ultraviolence for about 15 minutes. Silva loses most of his stuff at the back of his base, but retaliates with the help of Aqua and hits Death, who barely survives. Another counter attack, and another. Silva moves up his commander to the front, throwing everything he has at Death. Guardians come and go, wreckage all over the place.

At the same time, Kronos seems to be in a world of his own, carefully building a good looking base with DT lasers and well placed guardians. He grabs the geos quickly and when his resources are good enough, he suddenly wakes up and attacks Aqua with Rockos. The attack comes as a suprise and Aqua has to defend himself. Impressive counter from the-guy-who-made-solars.

The battle down south (Kronos - Aqua) calms down, but in the northern parts there is nothing remotly close to "calm". Death and Silva has now entered the upgraded stage of their war, including Advanced, windfarming and BBs. But there is none of that nomansland between players that you often see on GPP. They continue to fight with ground units and make every unit count.

As we enter the last stage of the game, it is beyond doubt that Kronos has a very personal way of playing this map. Moho Metal extractors, you serious? Brawlers, you gotta be kidding? Advanced without even attempting to build a BB? This is not how to play GPP!

Kronos way of playing GPP isnīt what youīd find in the schoolbooks and many times while watching this demo I found myself saying out loud things like "A few Adv bombers for the BB ffs!" or "Skip the Mohos, go for a BB phulease!". Kronos has some odd ideas, but he knows how to use them.

BBs, Brawlers, flashes, rockos, guardians, bombers. This game has it all and I wonīt spoil the ending. A recomended download for everyone, including the guys who only like the top notch gameplay.

Kudos to Death gameplay under pressure, Silvaīs comebacks and AQUAīs teamplay. And, not to forget, Kronos odd strats and ideas.
